Black Keys and Jim Jones Announce Blakroc Hip-Hop Album

As it turns out, those possibly insidious studio sessions between Mos Def, Black Keys and Jim Jones weren't just for shits and giggles. Billboard is reporting that the Keys and Jones are releasing an album under the name Blakroc, which will be out on Nov. 27, aka Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

The album was apparently spearheaded by Jones, The Black Keys and their management and Damon Dash, and will feature collabos with RZA, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Raekwon, Pharoahe Monch, Ludacris and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard (somehow). At least most of the MC talent is leagues better than Jones. [Billboard]
