Frank Black has announced that, as a deity of all things alternative rock, he will be supporting the band people most commonly cite as the the first example of bad commercial alternative rock. Despite a massive, sold out tour 4 years ago with The Pixies, Frank Black (Switching to his old alias Black Francis) will be second billing to Stone Temple Pilots for a slew of dates beginning next week. This is the equivalent 0f Paul Westerberg opening for The Goo Goo Dolls. This will be in support of Francis' 2007 release Bluefinger. The dates are as follows.
