Black Eyed Peas have claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 after their fifth album, the stupidly titled The E.N.D., moved 304,000 copies in its first week out. It's only the second top ten album for the Peas, whose last album, Monkey Business, landed at number two in 2005.
The first single from The E.N.D., "Boom Boom Pow," is entering its 13th week at number one, meaning that there are apparently a shit load of people who like that song so much they keep buying it. Just think though, if you had a kid in early March, it's three months old, and the only top song your kid has ever known is the tyrannical "Boom Boom Pow." What a sad world to bring a kid into.
