Black Eyed Peas Accused Of Stealing "Boom Boom Pow"
It seems like this decade is going to be all about continuing the themes of last decade, at least as far as the Black Eyed Peas are concerned. The hip-hop group was recently accused of stealing "Boom Boom Pow" by a group called Phoenix Phenom, who claim "Boom Boom Pow" is a straight rip-off of their "Boom Dynamite." Phoenix Phenom claim that they were courted by Interscope, and though they didn't get signed, Interscope definitely had copies of "Boom Dynamite," which they then claim will.i.am heard and ripped off. The songs certainly do sort of sound similar (at least in the way boom, boom is enunciated, though I don't know a different way to say "boom boom"), but I don't know if I'd want my name attached to "Boom Boom Pow" in any way, even if the Black Eyed Peas stole my song to make it. Because, seriously, woof. That songs is too many kinds of awful.

yeah fine, there are a lot of things wrong about this song (mostly the lyrics suck), but its also terribly catchy and the eerie sound in the background is brilliant
