Plenty of news to report about noise rockers Black Dice. Band member Eric Copeland will release a solo album entitled Hermaphrodite August 14 on Paw Tracks. Then the full band returns with their fourth LP Load Blown (cover at left), slated for an October 23 release, also on Paw Tracks. That label, as you might know, is run by the guys in Animal Collective. Will the notoriously raucous band's new shit be bananas? Well, there is a song amongst Load Blown's ten tracks named "Bananas," as well as other tunes like "Gore," "Drool," and "Manoman." B-A-N-A-N-A-S, indeed.
