Birdman Says Worst Investment Was R. Kelly

Another gem has leaked from Birdman's interview with Ozone magazine, namely in Birdman's response to the question of, "What's the worst business investment you made":

Probably the worst investment I did was fuckin’ with R. Kelly. That was a waste of my time. I could’ve made money if I wasn’t fuckin’ with that clown-ass nigga.

This is hilarious for a number of reasons, which I'll list in a moment. But it's useful to know that Birdman is talking about how he and Kells were supposed to cut an album together before Kelly ran off with Jay-Z to make Best of Both Worlds. Here are the reasons that statement is funny.

1. The use of "fuckin' with R. Kelly" in the first sentence.

2. The fact that Birdman could have (apparently) been using his time in a responsible way.

3. The use of "fuckin'" in the third sentence.

4. Birdman expecting Kelly to be professional. He did pee on someone.

5. The use of "clown-ass nigga," which connotates that R. Kelly is a clown, but only in his ass region. Apparently R. Kelly's ass has a red nose. 

6. Even if you don't narrowly define "clown-ass nigga" for an easy joke about bulbous noses on someone's butthole, that's still a funny thing for a grown man to call another grown man Re: a business deal that went awry.
