Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Billy Corgan has another lawsuit to contend with now. In addition to a digital royalties lawsuit with fomer Smashing Pumpkins bandmates drawing scorn (but not a lawsuit) from Courtney Love, Corgan has sued a filmmaker from Gurnee, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Corgan is also claiming the filmmaker did not meet Corgan's expectations is refusing to turn over all the footage unless he gets paid $100,000.

Corgan hired Lester Cohn to shoot video footage for use in other media, but said he lacked the professionalism and experience he claimed to have. Cohn didn't comment in the Chicago Tribune article, so its unclear how well Corgan is representing the story. What is the issue here is that Corgan's legal fees must be getting rather high, and all these negotiations must put a burden on his upcoming Smashing Pumpkins tour.
