Billy Corgan is "Officially Dating" Jessica Simpson

Billy Corgan has been acting erratically lately, but getting psychoanalyzed live on stage, questioning the H1N1 virus and setting up a spiritual website are nothing compared to this piece of news. According to a “source” that spoke to E! News, the slapheaded Smashing Pumpkins frontman has fallen in love with Jessica Simpson.

 

Apparently Simpson has been tweeting about Corgan, saying: “My friend, Billy Corgan, has a pure and enlightening outlook on faith.” It that wasn’t enough to induce great pools of vomit, that friendship has now blossomed into full on romance, with the source saying Simpson has “fallen hard and is smitten” with the singer, and they are “officially dating.”

 

But Corgan may face some stern opposition from Simpson’s friends. Here’s that source again: “They think he’s too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously any more because she has had so many. They’re sick of all of them being ‘the one.’” Let’s hope the relationship lasts long enough for a duet between the pair on Teargarden by Kaleidyscope.

My parents are 11 years apart and have been happily and faithfully married for over 30 years, i don't think age is that important now a days. BTW my husband is almost nine years older than me... we have been happy for six years. Billy Corgan deserves a sweet and loving girl, and Jessica Simpson deserves a sensitive man. I think they make a great oddly matched couple. If they work out, it will be awesome.
