Bill O'Reilly slams Coldplay (Video)
As if poor, beleaugured Britpop bastions Coldplay didn't have enough to worry about, what with groundless plagiarism insinuations from obscure Brooklyn bands, and Chris Martin's apparent transformation into a set of psychedelic Colorforms (at least according to that inescapable iTunes commercial). Now they have notorious right-wing meathead Bill O'Reilly to contend with. The Fox TV pundit called Coldplay out for what he deemed a veiled lyrical attack on the Fox network, dubbing Martin a "pinhead" and questioning his testosterone count, whilst daring him to come on O'Reilly's show. We hope O'Reilly doesn't tackle Oasis next, those boys might just show up to give him a thumping...

Ah I just saw Coldplay in concert (it was AMAZING) and at part of it they showed that clip and you could just hear the "boo"s all around. I contributed of course. ;) It was hilarious. Oh and Bill O'Reilly is an ass. It's like he's in some playground fight "since he isn't man enough" while he just goes around calling people pinheads (Oooh so insulted) all day. |

My family saw Coldplay last night and they were GREAT! This clip was just another entertaining moment of many. Bill is a dimwit, but I would like to see him backup the accusations! |

O'Reilly can dish it, but doesn't seem to be able to take it.
If that really is what Martin is insinuating in his lyrics, I think it's awesome.... just because it pissed Baby O'Reilly off.
