Bill Callahan Returns With 'Apocalypse' This April

When you've released as many albums as Bill Callahan has over the years, whether they be under his own name or under the name Smog, there comes a point where you can announce a new album with almost no details to support it, and people are still stoked. The image tethered to this story contains the only clues we have to the longtime songwriter's new album. It's called Apocalypse, it'll be out on April 19, and Drag City will be putting it out. Apocalypse is the follow up to 2009's excellent Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle.

Great news. Cant wait to hear this.
I cant believe it's been two years since Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle. That album still sounds fresh to me.
