Big Boi’s Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty Might Finally Be Released This Summer

Ask Clipse: Jive has a thing for dicking around their hip-hop groups. The label notoriously sat on Clipse’s Hell Hath No Fury so long, they went back and recorded visceral, angry songs about how much they hated being on the label. I can’t imagine Outkast’s Big Boi doing the same, but he’s certainly been trampled by Jive in recent months: his second solo album, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was supposed to come out last summer, then last fall, then last winter, then this spring, and still, no album. But apparently Boi has solved his problems with Jive, and in the next week or so, will announce when the album will be out. Boi is promising a summer release, saying the album’s done and he’s “very happy with it.”

This is still up in the air at this point, but apparently Sir Luscious might actually be out soon. [Idolator]
