Last night Frank Ocean made his television debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Also, his debut album Channel Orange--which drops July 17 in physical formats--was also revealed to be available for purchase exclusively via iTunes, one week prior to its official release date.
On Channel Orange, Andre 3000 of OutKast spits a superb verse on "Pink Matter," one of the album's closing tracks; his guest spot is only one of three features. A series of tweets from Big Boi, however, reveal that he was apparently supposed to be on "Pink" as well. The reason he isn't? Well, you can read the tweets below...The same circumstances allegedly prevented Big Boi from rapping alongside Andre on an upcoming T.I. track, too. [Spin]
I know frank called me to be on there as well, I think im bout to hop on it RT @ElliottWilson: @BigBoi 3 Stacks on that "Pink Matter".
