Big Boi Arrested For Ecstasy, Viagra Possession
Update: According to a tweet on Big Boi's Twitter account, the rapper was released, or "fresh out," at around 5:40 p.m.
According to TMZ, Big Boi was arrested earlier today in Miami on three counts of possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy, MDMA powder, and Viagra) and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. They are all felony charges. The arrest came after the rapper was exiting a cruise ship and was apparently busted by customs officers and border patrol dogs.
TMZ is reporting that Big Boi was arrested for the Viagra because he didn't have a prescription. The site also reported that he was booked at 1:35 p.m. EST and is being held on a $16,000 bond.
Sounds like a fun vacation.
