Beyonce has achieved the highest honor that can be bestowed on a musician: She has had a species of animal named after her. Well, actually, Beyonce has had a fly named after her. It's called a Scaptia beyonceae fly, and it got called that because it has a golden butt. Apparently the Australians who discovered the bug have a sense of humor about gold rear ends. The fly is found in far north Queensland in Australia. This joins a frog named after Sting, and a spider named after Frank Zappa in recent years. [DailySwarm]
