Guests are plenty on new Ben Lee album

Via Billboard:
...and that's the way he likes it. How ubiquitous was that song for a while there? Well, prepare for more hook-laden Aussie tunesmithery when Ben Lee releases his next album, Ripe. It's expected to come to fruition in September via New West. Many a young pal lends their help to Ripe. Mandy Moore sings on "Birds and Bees." Benji Madden of Good Charlotte co-wrote the track "Love." Nickel Creek violinist Sara Watkins lends strings and vox to some of the songs. Members of Rooney show up. And, getting quite a bit older here, longtime Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench tickles the ivories.
