Ben Frost Announces New Album “Aurora”

    Icelandic producer and post-classical composer Ben Frost (who has worked with Swans, Tim Hecker, Brian Eno, Valgeir Sigur∂sson, Colin Stetson, and many others) has announced the release of Aurora, his fifth LP and the follow-up to 2009’s By The Throat. Aurora will be released on May 27 via Mute in collaboration with Bedroom Community

    Below you can check out a short snippet from the album via a short film by Trevor Tweeten and Richard Mosse. The press release states that this will be the first in a series of shorts from the duo to Frost’s Aurora music.

    Frost will also be heading out on a European tour in support of Aurora. Tour dates after the video.
