As we told you this week in our NYC Free Summer Shows Feature Belle & Sebastian will be playing a free concert in Manhattan’s Battery Park on Tuesday, July 4 on the Great Lawn. Martha Wainwright will serve as the opening act, with gates opening at 2pm, and the show starting at 3:30pm. So why are we bothering to tell you all this again? Well, because youll need tickets to see the show, and information about where to get them has surfaced. On Tuesday, June 27 youll be able to pick up your free tickets from the following Starbucks outlets in NYC:
From 12pm until they run out:
Starbucks, Corner of Woolworth Building, 233 Broadway at Barclay Street.
Starbucks, Park Slope, 164 7th Avenue, Brooklyn.
From 5pm until they run out:
Starbucks at One Battery Park Plaza, near State Street and Pearl Street .
Starbucks at Astor Place, 13-25 Astor Place.
TWO tickets per person. First come, first serve. I dont think we need to tell you that these are probably going to move fast. Scarf-clad twee-poppers should be coming out of the woodworks for this one.
While you’re at it, pick up a coconut soy latte – your yuppie soul will thank you.
