
Not much has been heard from Belle And Sebastian these days. There hasn't been an announcement concerning a new album from the indie-pop institution, and frontman Stuart Murdoch has been more busy these days with his God Help The Girl project. This makes the announcement of their first North American tour since 2006 that much nicer of a surprise.
Starting at the end of September and extending through most of October, the tour will be hitting mostly major cities, but will also travel north to Canada for one show and down to Mexico for two. The first two shows might have the most ridiculous lineups, as B&S will find themselves playing with Teenage Fanclub and Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice as Jenny and Johnny, respectively.
