They say politicians and the like love to slip in bad news late on a Friday afternoon, since it usually fails to get widely picked up as most of the media has gone home for the weekend. Well, this certainly isn't bad news, but it is a surprise. Fresh off a two night stand at the historic Avalon Theatre in Hollywood, blog buzz big name Beirut will play a free in-store show at the Hollyhood outpost of Amoeba Music this evening (October 12). The set goes down at 6:30. Pretty sweet chance to see gratis what folks have been paying to see at sold out shows across the continent.
