Beck, STP, and Lucinda Williams set for Bumbershoot Festival

The Bumbershoot Festival, set for August 30-September 1 at Seattle’s City Center, has announced an eclectic lineup for its thirty-eighth annual event. Headlining the music stages will be Beck, Lucinda Williams, and the reunited Stone Temple Pilots. Also set to perform are Ingrid Michaelson, Jakob Dylan, Del Tha Funky Homosapien, !!!, Saul Williams, M. Ward, the Walkmen, Blitzen Trapper, John Vanderslice, Dan Deacon, Tim Finn, Bedouin Soundclash and Final Fantasy. In addition to the music offerings, Bumbershoot will feature "Wonderboy," a collaboration between San Francisco-based choreographer Joe Goode and New York-based puppeteer Basil Twist, plus talks by authors William Gibson, Dan Clowes and Adrian Tomine. The festival will also feature comedy on three stages, but performers have yet to be announced. Single day tickets for the festival will be available at Bumbershoot’s website on July 15^th.
