Beck displays his Modern Guilt on Amazon

The highly anticipated release of Beck’s album-length collaboration with Danger Mouse, titled Modern Guilt, has been slowly building. First we got a taste of the song “Chemtrails.” Then we got a glimpse of the album art. Now comes a preview of a different kind, with this black-and-white video montage featuring tracks from the album.

The clip seamlessly blends songs from the album together, and according to the press release it was “conceived, created and even edited with 100% creative input from Beck every step of the way.” There’s no sign of the much-vaunted Cat Power collaboration, but Beck fans haven’t got much longer to wait; Modern Guilt is scheduled for release by DGC on July 8.

In totally unrelated news, I still want to bang Beck with a strap-on.

I think that's one of the most insightful comments we've ever had on Prefix.
