Beck releases everything but new LP's release date

Though no official street date has been announced, nearly everything else about Beck's new LP has slipped out: Produced by Danger Mouse, the ten-song disc runs just over thirty minutes as it whirls through "psych-rock, folk, electronic minimalism, and orchestration."  In other words, it'll survey every Beck album ever.  Besides Danger Mouse, the album also features contributions from Chan Marshall, a.k.a. Cat Power, and will be released on Interscope in the U.S. and XL Records everywhere else.

In promotion of the new album, Beck will be performing his largest-ever hometown headlining set at the Hollywood Bowl on September 10 (tickets on sale May 10), with guests Spoon and MGMT.
