Good news, Beatles/vinyl enthusiasts: the 2009 Beatles remasters will be released on vinyl on November 13. This means all 14 studio albums will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl, featuring the same remastered treatment that’s already available on the 2009 CD versions and the 2010 digital releases.
In addition, the albums will include reproductions of the original contents, like the cutout figurines housed within Sgt. Pepper’s and the poster that accompanied “the White Album.” The records will be sold seperately, but a limited-edition box set will also be made available. Only 50,000 such sets will be manufactured, featuring a new hardbound book by radio producer Kevin Howlett that includes Beatles photographs from throughout their career. [Rolling Stone]
