Beatles For Anti-Piracy Campaign

Music Matters is a subtle new company/grassroots organization that aims to show young people that music is only important to you if you buy it (essentially). They’ve just gotten a huge backer: The Beatles, who consented to the use of many of their songs in this new ad. In the clip, we hear Beatles songs and here some dude’s story about how the Beatles are important to him. I mean, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who would say music doesn’t matter. But then turning this into anti-piracy? I don’t really get it. [NY Times]
