Beastie Boys And Spike Jonze Reunite For New Video

The working relationship between Spike Jonze and the Beastie Boys is, at this point, a historic one. I mean, where would we all be without the classic videos for "Sure Shot," "Time for Livin'," and, of course, "Sabotage"? Somewhere a lot less interesting, that's for sure.

So with that in mind, it's beyond-great news that the director and seminal hip-hop trio are collaborating yet again. They're apparently putting the finishing touches on a video for the dubby Santigold-assisted "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win" off Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2.

According to a press release, it's sounding like the video will be able to fill the awesome shoes of its predecessors. Ad-Rock, Mike D, MCA, and Santigold all transform into action figures who are trying to avoid being offed by a team of assassins, which leads to a slew of crazy scenes featuring sharks and zombies. To say we can't wait would be a massive understatement.

The video should be out by the end of the month in short and long-form. Get ready for it by watching the "Sure Shot" video below.
