Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock Scoring His Dad’s Off-Broadway Play

    Ad-Rock will continue his non-Beastie Boys-related endeavors in a few weeks when he takes his talents to the world of theater. According to XXL, he has put together an original score for off-Broadway play Gloucester Blue, which was written by his father, Israel Horovitz. Yes, writing skills apparently run in the family, as Ad-Rock’s pops has been penning award-winning films and plays for many years.
