Beanie Sigel Apologizes To Jay-Z, Realizes His Disses Don’t Hurt

After a year and a half of wildly reported, and ignored, disses at his former Roc-a-fella capo, Beanie Sigel has gone back on his beef with Jay-Z, ultimately agreeing with literally everyone that Jay-Z at least gave him opportunities:

“What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas fuck up too, Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.” “I was explaining the whole Roc-A-Fella shit and a lot of feelings were going to get hurt. I was airing shit out. Just the homies could listen to that when they come into the studio. I couldn’t put that out. It wouldn’t sit right with me.”

I mean, who else would have given Beanie Sigel his own clothing line? All of this is so shrewd though: Beans could get publicity in a time when no one cared about him by dissing Jay-Z, and now that a Jay-Z feature is probably his best shot at a comeback, he’s all roses and good times. But I think we can agree: The idea of Jay-Z’s feelings getting hurt by Beanie Sigel=Hilariously misunderstanding your own power. [DS]
