We're fin to provide in-depth coverage on the festival, but here's a head's up for "Be The Riottt!". Folks in San Francisco and the outlying Bay Area can see themselves some quality music at this "culture expo" Saturday the 11th. Here's a few questions and answers. What's with the goofy name?
Riott is a culture website destination, and this serves as their launch celebration. We can't really answer why there's three t's in the name.
Who's performing?
Local hip-hop crew Zion I. Los Angeles cats like Busdriver, the Visionaries, and Living Legends. Rockers like Metric, The Rapture, and Asobi Seksu. Clipse. Diplo.
X-Clan! And more.
Why in November?
Because CMJ kicked off the month and they wanted to give the Left Coast some shine? It's still sunny (mostly) in SF, and the event's inside the capacious Bill Graham Civic Center, so November's as good a time as any.
What are the odds I'll be frustrated by two bands I want to see being on at once?
Not too bad; there's three stages, somewhat well segregated by genre. Zion-I and X-Clan play at the same time, so if you're of an old and new school bent, you may be torn a bit.
Other questions to be answered after the show.

I got the guitarist from TFOT's Pick. Best New Band. So amazingly talented.
