You see that oddly shaped mound of what is either brains or bubblegum over there? Yes, the pink, textured substance with Battles Gloss Drop on it. That's the album art for the band's forthcoming sophomore album, which is dropping this June on Warp Records. So far, we have seen the track list that includes guests such as Gary Numan and Kazu Makino. We have also heard the album's first single, "Ice Cream," a track that gets all trippy and dance-y without resorting to the band's previous experimental tendencies. It should be interesting to see where the guys go from here and which track they decide to leak next.
Gloss Drop drops June 7. Oh, and be sure to check out their tour dates.
