Battles’ New Album, Gloss Drop, Will Be Released on June 6

    After a four year wait, experimental rock masterminds Battles have announced through Twitter and their official website that they will release their follow up to 2007’s critically lauded Mirrored, Gloss Drop, on June 6 and 7. The album features twelve tracks, including a Gary Numan feature, and will be released via Warp Records. It’s unclear exactly which parts of the world will get the album on June 6 and 7, but logic predicts that the USA will get the new album a day after a UK or international release. No cover art has been released for the album yet, but the tracklisting can be found below:
