Bat For Lashes Plays New Song With String Quartet

Bat for Lashes, aka Natasha Khan, is reportedly working on a new album, with a handful of songs already completed. That's no longer reportedly: At Australia's Vivid Festival last week, Khan trotted out a new song during her set with a string quartet, and it's a good one. It's all seductive synths, hand claps, emotional lyrics, and Kate Bush-isms. Bat for Lashes sort of tend to get lost in the shuffle of Florences, La Roux and others, but this puts her upcoming third album in most anticipated category for sure. Great stuff. [24 Bit]
