Bat for Lashes' Natasha Khan is a tricky one to place. One minute she's coming over all deep and spiritual, with press releases for her forthcoming album reading, "Two Suns digs deeply into the philosophy of the self and duality, examining the need for both chaos and balance, for both love and pain, in addition to touching on metaphysical ideas concerning the connections between all existence." The next minute this is released as the cover art for the first single from the album, "Daniel."
It looks like we can all breathe a sigh of relief; Miss Khan has got a sense of humor and seems to have gotten over taking herself a tad too seriously. Perhaps the levity is owing to Thom Yorke's recent endorsement, "Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes ain't scared. I love the harpsichord and the sexual ghost voices and bowed saws. This song seems to come from the world of Grimm's fairytales, and I feel like a wolf." Hmmm. Thom Yorke isn't a newcomer to the Natasha Khan fanclub though, having handpicked Bat for Lashes to open for Radiohead on last summer's European tour.
Two Suns will be released on April 6 on Astralwerks.

On a pretty much entirely unrelated note, has anyone seen the pictures of Natasha Khan in the last Fader? They're pretty hot.
