Seriously folks, the singer of O' Death, Greg Jamie, sounds like a baby manatee being ravaged by a pack of feral cougars. In other words, his voice is an awful mess. He should not be a singer. O'Death's music isn't bad but here are a few bands with an old-timey sound that are much better and don't make me want to stab faces: Old Crow Medicine Show, Avett Brothers, Richard Buckner, Frog Holler, Tom Brosseau. Meanwhile, other bloggers seem to be digging on them, so decide for yourself.
