If you head on over to the Band of Horses website, you'll find a nice little update where the band spills the beans on getting set to begin work on a new album. Apparently the band will settle down at Echo Mountain studios in Ashville, NC at the beginning of March to record "a brand spanking new BOH album of songs." Grammatical eccentricities aside, this is exciting news.
Also newsworthy is that the band has welcomed two new members into the fold. Robin Peringer (Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, 764-HERO, Carissa's Wierd) will join on guitar and Matt Gentling (Archers of Loaf) will play bass.
