Balloon Boy's Dad Wrote TV Theme Songs, and They Are Very, Very Bad (Audio)

I really wanted to avoid writing anything related to Richard Heene's TV theme songs, since they are very, very bad, and the whole story is so very, very sad face. But honestly, this might be the biggest music related story going this week. That is until Amy Winehouse smokes crack again. So, here, listen to Richard Heene, dad of that one kid who was in a balloon, but wasn't because it was all a giant hoax, and who is a very lame dude who wants reality TV fame, which is the worst kind of fame, do bad ass songs like "Psyience Detective" (choice rhyme: "Tune into the show that's really effective, Richard Heene, Science Detective") and "The Contractor" over at this new rad MP3 blog called TMZ. Guy apparently wrote the bass parts and the words. Explains why the bass is so loud and terrible. [via Videogum]

No, what's really bad is the rap video that the three kids made. Saw it over at Entertainment Weekly! No amount of bad TV themes can match their video for "Pussification". It's out there on the YouTube somewhere.

Dude, I think The Psyience Detective ROCKS!! Just you wait, it'll be the title track to some hip outsider compilation in less than 10 years...
