Badly Drawn Boy Releasing Soundtrack to New Movie

Badly Drawn Boy (a.k.a. Damon Gough) is the forgotten man of the U.K. music scene. He was extraordinarily prolific in his early days at the start of this decade, but his career faltered and it’s now been three years since his last album, the Springsteen-punning Born in the U.K.

 

Gough released the soundtrack to the Hugh Grant movie About a Boy back in 2002, and he has returned to the field for his next record. The soundtrack to the British movie Is There Nothing We Can Do will be released on Dec. 14, and will ease Gough back into the music world after his extended hiatus. But the big question remains: Is he still wearing that hat?
