Via CMJ:Jazz-popsters The Bad Plus will return on May 8th will their fifth full album. To be titled PROG, it will be released by Heads Up International. Producer Tony Platt, who has worked with AC/DC, helped out the trio on PROG. Covers? You know there'll be covers. That's kind of what The Bad Plus is known for. This time out, they tackle Tears for Fears "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," Rush's "Tom Sawyer," Bowie's "Life on Mars," and Burt Bacharach's "This Guy's in Love with You."
