The B-52s will release their next album, Funplex in the US on February 26th which will feature, ''"loud, sexy rock & roll with the beat pumped up to hot pink,''" says guitarist Keith Strickland. Funplex will be the new wavers''' first release in sixteen years following 1992'''s Good Stuff. Singer Cindy Wilson described Funplex as having an ''"Athen'''s vibe''" even though the band members all currently reside in different cities: "We're bringing everything that's happened to us in 30 years to this record. There's a maturity to it, but we're not about to grow up. It's still us, you know."
