B-52s bring the fun on new album

Put on a bib for some rock lobster and locate the keys to the love shack, because the B-52s are back. The pioneering Southern new-wave merrymaking band will release its new album, Funplex, March 25 via Astralwerks. It’s the first new album in sixteen years from the thirty-two-year-old group. And yes, those are two huge signs that we’re all getting really old. Guitarist Keith Strickland describes Funplex as “loud, sexy rock 'n' roll for your pleasure zones, with the beat pumped up to hot pink.” It remains unclear as to whether the position of “hot pink” is before or after “11” on most amp dials.

Did Astralwerks put out the band's old stuff?
