Azealia Banks had a little Twitter parley with Lady GaGa back in August, but now it looks like it produced more than flattering tweets: Banks has confirmed she has recorded two songs, "Red Flame" and "Ratchet," with Mother Monster. It's unclear whether either track will appear on Gaga's upcoming ARTPOP or somewhere else; "She's going to release it when she wants to release it," Banks said in an interview with Brazil's Mix TV.
Like their Twitter chat, Banks and Gaga's collaboration was completed long-distance. "I worked with Lady GaGa from afar. We worked via email and via Internet." Hopefully their tracks still contain enough compounded charisma to make us believe they might have met in real life.
Banks also has confirmed her collaboration with Kanye West, which happened on a Hawaiian getaway: "Working with Kanye was a lot of fun. I just kind of went out to Hawaii for vacation, and he has a studio out there. And he was just like, 'You should really come to the studio,' so I went to the studio and just worked it out." Things are working out, indeed. Check out Azealia Banks' Mix TV interview below. [MTV]
