Azealia Banks Announces '212' EP, Talks 'Broke With Expensive Taste' LP

It's been a busy day so far for news surrounding Harlem rapper-singer Azealia Banks. We learned earlier that she's apparently recording some kind of a duet with fellow buzz-heavy NYC artist Lana Del Rey. And now it's been revealed that we can expect to hear a proper release from Banks on March 25. Polydor Records will release the 212 EP that day and it's set to feature several remixes of the popular, cuss-laden title track. It will also include the (relatively) recently released "Liquorice." Hopefully a full-length debut is on the way, too. [HHDX]

Update: While it's not clear when said full-length will actually drop, Ms. Banks told the folks at Complex what we can expect to hear on her debut. She's calling it Broke With Expensive Taste and said that it will be filled with "all that ratchet shit." You know, "like having your MetroCard and your cell phone and feeling like you’re alive. It’s definitely gonna be mad New York." She went on to say that she's going to "spit some shit about clothes" and about "hav[ing] a good time," though "she might really drop some real n***a shit."
