Over the past 20 years, you’d be hard pressed to find a frontman as mercurial as Guns N' Roses’ Axl Rose. Outside of a busy tour schedule, Rose has pretty much shunned the spotlight and besides a few interviews, the media as well.
Ahead of the band’s 12 date residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Rose is doing something hasn’t done since the band’s heyday: appear on television for a sit-down interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Scheduled for Oct. 24, a week before they hit the stage, the move is a bit of a surprise for the notoriously reclusive singer.
One thing is guaranteed: whenever Rose gives an interview, it’s always eventful and this one shouldn’t be any different.
In addition to the Vegas shows, Guns N Roses will be playing acoustic sets at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit on Oct. 20 and 21 in Mountainview, Calif.
