Autechre releases 140 minutes of new music digitally

They may not have as much indie support as fellow so-called IDM musicians like Aphex Twin, but Autechre have quietly helped revolutionized music over the last 21 years. Following hot on the heels of this year’s bizarre and excellent Quaristice, the English duo will be releasing 13 songs digitally over the next two weeks via electronic music shop Bleep.

The first release will appear May 19, and fans can choose to either subscribe for the whole series or buy tracks as they appear. All told, Autechre will be releasing about 140 minutes of music. The tracks will also be available as EP bundles on other digital music retailers a week after the Bleep-exclusive releases end. Cryptic track titles below.
