Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Plaza, Giovanni Ribisi and Philip Baker Hall are all in talks to join the cast of the indie film A Many Splintered Thing, according to Variety.
Helmed by commercial director Justin Reardon, the film stars Chris Evans (The Avengers) as a man whose views on love are changed after he falls for a woman engaged to be married, played by Michelle Monaghan. The screenplay by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair was on the infamous Hollywood “Black List” of unproduced screenplays.
McG and Mary Viola are producing with Nicolas Chartier and Craig Flores from Voltage Pictures - who are also funding the film and handling foreign sales. Production on A Many Splintered Thing is scheduled to begin at the end of the month.
