To be perfectly honest, Aubrey O'Day's version of Eddie Murphy and Rick James' "Party All the Time" isn't bad, and is generally pretty defensible as a song. But of course, the choice of someone who barely has a career to cover a one-hit wonder begs the question, why? Obviously, kudos to O'Day for neglecting to change the sex of the party-er in question (unless she was going for some Perryesque faux bisexuality, in which case, shame on her), but this decision is really pretty baffling. The only conclusions to be drawn from this are that O'Day and her handlers are completely lost as to what charts these days, or O'Day and her handlers are making some seriously bizarre, advanced choices, thus trolling all of us simpletons. My bet's on the latter?
