Atlas Sound December Tour Announced
If more proof is needed that Bradford Cox never stops working, here comes news of a short Atlas Sound tour he is undertaking to promote the recently released Parallax. That record is his most complete work to date in his solo career, but it probably won’t be long before he’s left it behind and spun off in a new direction with Deerhunter.
Cox has played a few shows already this year following the release of his new album, but this set of six dates is the most cohesive run yet. It looks like his return to Deerhunter won’t happen for at least a couple more months yet, as Cox also has an Atlas Sound show lined up in Japan on Feb. 19. And maybe some West Coast dates will follow this stint?
