Atlas Sound Announces Sophomore LP, Logos, for October Release

Deerhunter's Bradford Cox has had a busy two years. He has released two Deerhunter albums in that time, and one solo album as Atlas Sound. Just in case you thought dude was slacking, he has announced the second Atlas Sound album, Logos, will be out in October via Kranky. Cox wrangled Animal Collective's Panda Bear to help out on one track, as well as Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier.

Logos is the finished project of what leaked from Atlas Sound last year in the lead-up to Microcastle, and while Cox was distraught over the album leaking, he decided to finish it anyway. It's due out on October 20. Here's the track list:

01 The Light That Failed
02 An Orchid
03 Walkabout [ft. Noah Lennox (Panda Bear)]
04 Criminals
05 Attic Lights
06 Shelia
07 Quick Canal [ft. Laetitia Sadier]
08 My Halo
09 Kid Klimax
10 Washington School
11 Logos

Bradford Cox has to be one of the most recognizable people in indie rock. If you've seen him once, you'll never forget him.
