As excited as you might be over the reunion of At The Drive-In, don't get too hype just yet. Sure, the guys are going to hit the road together in what feels like forever, but one of the founding members has made it clear that that's all they are doing. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez told Kerrang! that the reunion is essentially just a "nostalgia thing" and compared it to wearing an old T-shirt again:
"Will there be a new album? No, no, no. At the Drive-In is more of a nostalgia thing – it's songs we wrote when we were all in our 20s and we're doing a couple of shows."
He continued: "It's an old T-shirt that doesn't fit me any more, but when you put it on again, it feels nice. It's as simple as that."
