In another sign of how online entertainment is increasingly morphing into an offline force to be reckoned with (check this L.A. Weekly cover story from last week for a detailed account that will certainly scare the wits out of staid, old media conservatives), viral video phenom Ask a Ninja has announced a live appearance. The Ninja, whoever he may be, will show up at Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre on December 5. Also adding to the hilarity will be Prefix fave Patton Oswalt and musical comedy duo Hard 'N Phirm, which consists of ex-Singled Out host Chris Hardwick and Mike Phirman. Ask a Ninja's website (you can head there for ticket info) promises an "epic night of hilarity that Ninjas will be talking about for years to come."
