ASAP Mob And SpaceGhostPurrp On The Rocks

In what is probably the most disappointing hip-hop news all day, a pretty serious fight has broken out between Miami rapper/producer SpaceGhostPurrp and the Harlem-based rap collective ASAP Mob. According to Mostly Junk Food, which breaks the online/Twitter-brawl down with gusto, it all started when ASAP Twelvy apparently jumped one of SGP’s Raider Klan members in NYC. The exact why and how and where are unsure; what seems clear, though, is that we shouldn’t expect collaboration between Rocky and SGP on the much-anticipated (and much-delayed) ASAP Mob mixtape or on Rocky’s proper debut, Long.Live.ASAP. [FACT]

Both MCs have been busy lately, with Rocky putting out a few features and singles (most notably Hit-Boy-produced “Goldie” – let’s not talk about that Usher track) and SpaceGhostPurrp releasing his solid solo LP Mysterious Phonk: The Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp.

Listen to Rocky and SGP take the mic together in “Purple Swag Chapter 2” from Live.Love.ASAP:
